Blomidon Estate Winery is a boutique winery nestled on the shore of the Minas Basin, near Canning, in the picturesque Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. Our beautiful seaside setting offers a unique location for viticulture, as well as a scenic stopping point for our many visitors.

OUR STORY
[The 2016 Brut Réserve] has a lovely soft and complex nose of apple, brioche, lemon and spice. It was aged five years on its lees. It is very elegant, lithe and still fruit driven with great, almost steely acidity.
This is one of my favourite Nova Scotian Vineyards. They produce some excellent vintages and the staff are always cheerful and helpful, making you feel they really appreciate you visiting.
[The 2011 Blanc de Blancs] is a seriously tart and proper traditional method sparkling wine from Blomidon, 10 years on the lees and very, very dry, bracing, like a sea breeze during the storm, herbal, citric to say the least. For fans of bracing and lean, stony wines.
This winery is a bit further from Wolfville past Canning... but soooooooo worth the visit. Enjoy their beautiful wines that are rivaled by the incredible view from their patio. The staff are always so knowledgeable and well versed in their wines. A summer in Nova Scotia isn't complete for me without at least one trip here!
Blomidon Estate Winery offers an “off the beaten path” experience in the Annapolis Valley’s wine region. Their deck which has a south exposure, looks across the vineyards and provides a pastoral, European feel to your visit. A well plated charcuterie can accompany the wine selection of your choice. You will not be disappointed.
